Russell J. Volk, 69 of Fincastle, died Wednesday, May 2, 2018.
Russell was born May 4, 1948 in Lynchburg and was the son of the late George and Juanita Otey Volk. He was a police officer for 25 years with the Norfolk Police Department and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and fishing.
Russell is survived by his daughters Ericka L. Volk of Norfolk, Dana C. Volk of Radford, and Krista L. Volk and her fiancé Patrick Thornton of Richmond; grandson Kameron N. Davis; a sister Connie Mattox of Lynchburg; one niece and several cousins.
Private services will be conducted at the convenience of Russell’s family.
