Mildred Marie Kelly Crocker, age 94 of Fincastle, died Friday, November 16, 2018 at her home.
Mildred was born September 22, 1924 in Brooklyn, New York and was the daughter of the late John and Lenora Kelly. She and her husband Ted raised their children in upstate New York before moving to Fincastle 46 years ago. Mildred enjoyed her family, flowers, gardening, and yard sales.
In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her beloved husband Theodore D. Crocker; son, Richard David Crocker; three brothers and one sister. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law John and Kim Crocker of Vinton, Robert and Wanda Crocker of Lynchburg; daughters and son-in-law Patricia and Al Snyder of Luray, and Cynthia Jeter of Blue Ridge; grandchildren: Devin, Danielle, Ned, Darrell, Jessica, Michael, Andrew, Paige, and Sam; six great-grandchildren; her dog Muffy, and her cat Miss Kitty.
A private graveside service will be at Godwin Cemetery in Fincastle.
