Martin A. "Marty" Cagle

Martin Allen “Marty” Cagle, age 57 of Roanoke, passed away at home Tuesday, October 16, 2018.
Marty was born June 12, 1961 in Bridgeton, New Jersey, then moved to Goshen, Indiana with his family. He has lived in Roanoke for several years.

Marty worked at Caldwell Coach, Atlantic Solutions, and then worked for Cuz’s Auto Repair. He was on the MDA car committee, a member of the Lakeland Masonic Lodge, Shekinah Chapter-Widows Sons of VA MRA, and served proudly with the United States Marine Corps.

Marty was preceded in death by his mother Linda Faye Roberts. Marty is survived by his wife Alice Oyler Cagle; father, Charles Cagle; daughter Ashley and Joshua Pina; step-sons: James (Crystal) Oyler, and Bradley Anderson; grandchildren: Cody, CJ, Niyla, Nayda, and Nora; sisters: Cathy and Stephanie; brothers: Danny, Daryl (Hope), David (Brenda), and family.

A celebration of Marty’s life will be 11:00 am Monday, October 22 at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road, Daleville with Pastor Ben Peyton officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, 6-8pm Sunday.
