Lisa C. Cameron

Lisa C. Cameron, age 66 years of Botetourt, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022 following a long illness.

Lisa was born August 27, 1955 in Lima, Ohio and lived in Botetourt for the more than 30 years. She was the daughter of the late Stuart G. Chapin and Janet E. Main Polock.

Lisa was Registered Dental Hygienist for more than 30 years, retiring in February. After her husband Darrell, her true passion was her grandchildren and gardening. Lisa was a true outdoors-person enjoying hunting, camping, and water sports. She was a real “people-person” never knowing a stranger.

In addition to her parents, Lisa was preceded in death by her in-laws: Robert W. and Ethel M. Cameron. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Darrell A.; daughters: Kim (David) Aldrich of Fincastle, and Christina LeBlanc of Botetourt; grandchildren: Elizabeth (Samuel) Leap, Samantha Aldrich, David Aldrich, Jr., Jacob Brown, Brianna LeBlanc, and Cameron LeBlanc; one great-grandson, Kamden Leap; her brother, Mark (Terry) Chapin of Cleveland, Ohio; sisters: Julia Vardakis, Ellen (Russel) Johnson, and Tracey (Peter) Frangos all of Massachusetts; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
