Tribute

Kenneth G. Hall, age 60 of Fincastle, entered through heaven’s gates Monday, December 16, 2019.

Lovingly known as “Bubba” to his family, he was the youngest son of Glen C. Hall and Pearlie J. Mills, both who awaited him in heaven. Ken was preceded in death by his brother Tim Hall, great-niece Kristen Brooks, and faithful companion and hunting buddy Mess. A man who took great pride in his country, Ken was a United States Marine Corps veteran having served six years just out of high school.

Left to cherish his memory and look forward to being reunited with him one day is his sister Glenna Mullins and her husband Terry (Bert), sister Amanda Smallwood and her husband Robert, “little brother” (who was like a son to him) Hunter Trivellin and his wife Heather (their sons Forrest and Silas), “brother” and long-time friend Terry Harlow, long-time friend and fellow veteran Jeff Clingenpeel; nieces Sylina, Wendy, Becky, and Missy; nephew and fellow Marine Craig Hall; great-niece Leah; great-nephews Colten Brooks (Bubba’s sidekick, partner, pride and joy, and greatest love), Kenten Brooks, Declan Duncan, and Clay Hall.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Farrell Adkins and his nurse Natalie, Dr. Mark Kochenderfer, ONP Jolee Preston, and the amazing nursing staff at Blue Ridge Cancer Care for their care over the last four years.

A celebration honoring Ken’s life will be 2:00 pm Friday, December 20 at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road Daleville with Ben Peyton officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6-8 pm Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Good Samarian Hospice, 2408 Electric Road SW, Roanoke, Virginia 24018 who served Ken and his family with great care and respect prior to his passing.
