John Michael Griffin

On December 15, 2021 John Griffin passed on to the next phase of his journey.

John was born in Ohio, raised in Virginia, worked in Maryland, and passed on in Virginia. He was skilled in numerous trades, but his true calling was commercial/industrial electrical work.

John had many interests: sports, NASCAR-Richard Petty #43, Baltimore Ravens and Orioles, motorcycles, cars-especially MOPARs, guitars, and music in general. He never met a stranger and while gruff on the outside, inside he had a heart of gold and would help anyone if he could.

Per John’s wishes, his ashes were spread in Tinkerview Gardens, Hay Rock, and Havre de Grace, Maryland at the head of the Chesapeake Bay (three of his favorite places).

“I feel I’ve left the world better than I found it!”

At John’s request, there will be no service.
