Denny C. Shrewsbury

Denny C. Shrewsbury, 83, of Troutville passed away on February 16, 2024.

Born in West Virginia he was the husband of the late Barbara Jean Shrewsbury and the son of the late Lee Andrew Shrewsbury and Lovdie Shrewsbury, both deceased. Denny was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed woodworking and made many furniture pieces. Denny loved gardening and taking hikes and walks.

Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Clark Shrewsbury and wife Drusilla and Scott Shrewsbury and wife Vicki; four grandchildren, Jessica Necessary and husband Justin, Alexis Bolen and husband Cody, Austin Shrewsbury, and Tyler Shrewsbury; two great grandchildren, Henry and Scarlett; a special sister-in-law, Mildred Shrewsbury; a special niece, Sharon Downey; and five siblings, Shirley Shrewsbury, Claude Shrewsbury, Dora Woody, Damen Shrewsbury, and Martin Shrewsbury.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Daleville on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Daleville on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 10:00 am.
