Bonnie Lee Oberg, 67 of Fincastle, died Saturday, September 8, 2018 at her home.
Bonnie was born March 21, 1951 in Roanoke and lived in Fincastle all of her life. She was the daughter of the late Carl Leo and Hallis Mae Thornhill Lee.
Bonnie was a day care provider for many years and was a member of Pleasant Dale Church of the Brethren.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her daughter Kimberly Oberg, brother Carl Lee, Jr. and brother-in-law William “Bill” Davis. She is survived by her son Todd Oberg of Fincastle; daughter and son-in-law Sheila and Brian Wilson of Troutville; grandchildren: Bri Wilson, Jarrett Wilson, Chase Oberg, and Haleigh Oberg; sister Shirley Davis of Fincastle; brothers and sister-in-law Donnie and Diane Lee of Fincastle, and Larry Lee of Manassas.
A memorial service honoring Bonnie’s life will be 2:00 pm Saturday, September 15 at Pleasant Dale Church of the Brethren, 3732 Breckinridge Mill Rd, Fincastle. Her family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 3140 Chaparral Dr. #106, Roanoke, VA 24018.
