Carl, I will never forget our trip to Russia as part of the music ministry team at Columbia Baptist Church. You and Ruth were such passionate missionaries and a real inspiration to me as we tried to serve God in Russia through our love for music. May God continue to surround and provide comfort to you and your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ruth gave the best hugs I have ever experienced and it's great to think that she's now able to hug the Lord in person.

There will never be anyone like Ruth Barber. Her intellect, kindness to others, calmness, love of learning and love of children were amazing. I am privileged that I got to work alongside her with the Honor Society at Herndon Middle School in Virginia. Ruth, you will be missed.

Carl and family, it was a distinct pleasure to make Ruth's acquaintance through our Supper Club. Ruth was a great lady and is a real saint. We thank God for her life among us and for her life in the eternal arms of the Lord. God bless you all. Jim and Peggy Baynton
