William F. "Billy" Deel

William F. “Billy” Deel, age 69 of Mill Creek, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 27, 2022.

Billy was born September 16, 1952 in Roanoke and was the son of the late George W. and Thelma J. Ferrell Deel. He was a mechanic and could fix just about anything with a motor or small engine. Billy was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Beth Deel. Billy is survived by his brothers: Randy (Doreen) Deel of Buchanan, Johnny Deel of Roanoke, and Jimmy Deel of Blacksburg; one niece, three nephews; and aunt, Wanda Ferrell Parker of Daleville.

A service honoring Billy’s life will be 1:00 pm Saturday, April 30 at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road Daleville with Pastor Donald Goforth officiating. Burial will be at Mill Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
