Terri Stevens Huffman, age 56 of Daleville, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital following a long illness.
Terri was born October 10, 1964 in Roanoke and lived in Botetourt most of her life. She was the daughter of the late William D. and Mary M. Breeden Stevens.
Terri was a secretary for the Botetourt County Sheriff’s Office for 15 years. She was a member and deacon at Melrose Baptist Church. She enjoyed her grandchildren and Disney.
In addition to her parents, Terri was preceded in death by her step-father Beverly Young, and brother, William D. Stevens, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 35 years Michael “Mike” Huffman; sons: Billy (Hayley) Huffman of Roanoke County and Steven Huffman (fiancée Emily Wingo) of Daleville; daughter Samantha (John) Miller of Goodview; grandchildren: Lyla and Ellie Huffman, and Dylan and Morgan Miller; brother and sister-in-law Kevin “Nate” and Teresa Stevens of Daleville; nephew, Josh Humphries and niece, Brooke Humphries; aunt and uncle, Carolyn and Robert Stevens; and her beloved dog, Bobo.
A celebration of Terri’s life will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 7 at Melrose Baptist Church, 3520 Peters Creek Road, NW with Pastor Mark Mofield and Pastor Greg Hetherington officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road Daleville. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing and face coverings are necessary.
