Steven Edward McClung

Steven Edward McClung, age 62, most recently of Daleville, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020.

Steven was born in West Virginia and lived in Roanoke before moving to Botetourt five years ago. He was the son of the Thomas E. and Martha J. Mitchell McClung.

Steven was a self-employed truck driver for many years and enjoyed reading, writing, and online debates regarding politics and current events. He was a drummer in his own band, Aware Wolf.

Preceded in death by his brother David Murray McClung, and sister, Teresa McClung, Steven is survived by his son Ashley McClung and daughter Whitney Henley; one grandson, Campbell; his parents Thomas and Martha McClung; and sisters, Tammy Peck and Amy Ludwig.

A memorial service will be held.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to an organization for climate change awareness.
