Sally Holz Moorman

Sally Holz Moorman, age 73 of Fincastle, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020 following a long illness.

Sally was born April 21, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio and lived in Botetourt since 2004. She was the daughter of the late Edward A. and Evelyn M. Bates Holz. Sally enjoyed cooking and entertaining. She had attended Church of the Transfiguration Catholic Church.

Sally is survived by her husband of 38 years, Michael Moorman; daughters: Cora Moorman of Fincastle, and Leslie (Jon) Black of Cincinnati; her son, Jeff (Cheri) Kenney also of Cincinnati; seven grandchildren; and sister, Leslie Houk of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

A memorial service honoring Sally’s life will be conducted later.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
