Rowland Brit Wampler

Rowland Brit Wampler, “Brit” passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 20, 2022. He was 62 years of age. Brit is survived by his parents, Rowland and Barbara Wampler, sister Laura, and brothers Todd (Lori) and Steve (Betsy) and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his daughter Morgan Bailey (Kyle) and his granddaughter Landry Lee Bailey. Brit had many friends in his life and remained close with his ex wife, Sherri Powell and loving companion Denise Linkenhoker. He was a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and Radford University. Brit lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed gardening, canning, and was a talented woodworker. He was also a skilled carpenter, plumber, and beekeeper. Brit was always so generous and rarely would show up anywhere empty handed, often handing out honey, vegetables, and preserves. The family will be accepting friends 3-5pm Wednesday, August 24 at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road Daleville followed by a service at 5:00 pm with Pastor Terry Johnson officiating.
