Ricky Allen “Rick” Huffman, age 57 of Lynchburg, died Friday, March 5, 2021 at his home following a long illness.
Rick was born in Roanoke February 13, 1964 and lived in Lynchburg all of his adult life. He was the son of the late Charles E. Huffman, Sr. and Marjorie L. Dunbar Huffman.
Rick was a cashier for Scott’s Thrift Store for twelve years and most recently worked for Billy Craft Honda in Lynchburg. He enjoyed bingo and 80’s music.
He is survived by his brother Tony Huffman of Troutville; sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Jake Moran of Fincastle; nieces and nephews: Amanda (Kenny) Roper, Isiah Moran, Kobe Roper and Briana Roper; and his dog Lucy.
A memorial service honoring Rick’s life will be 7:00 pm Tuesday, March 16 at Rader Funeral Home 630 Roanoke Road Daleville with Pastor Elmer Clemons officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. The service will be livestreamed at www.rader-funeralhome.com/tributes/Ricky-Huffman.
