Paul Bayne

Paul Bayne, age 76 of Troutville, fell asleep in death Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at his home.

Paul was born January 2, 1943 in Arlington, Virginia and was the son of the late Edward Franklin and Elsie May Fullerton Bayne. He lived in Annapolis, Maryland before moving to Troutville thirty years ago.

Paul was a Sales Director for Coca Cola and retired after 50 years of service. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Troutville Congregation and enjoyed cycling, photography, golf, and playing his banjo.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brothers Fred Stanley Bayne and Edward Franklin Bayne Jr.; and a sister, Evelyn Rector. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Roberta Kay Scott Bayne; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Rachel Bayne of Fincastle; daughters and sons-in-law Sandra Lynn and David Nordgren of Waterford, Virginia, and Julie and Roland Alexander of Hamilton, Virginia; grandchildren: David (Amy), Rachel, Rebecca, Kaylee, Ryan, Tyler, and Bradley; sisters and brothers-in-law: Betty and Larry Brown of Ashburn, Virginia, Audrey and Winnie Nevins of Lexington, Virginia, and Ruth Ann Green of Riva, Maryland; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service honoring Paul’s life will be 5:00 pm, Saturday September 28 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 70 Greenfield Street Daleville with Donald Nordgren officiating.
