Oma Lee Aders, age 89 of Roanoke County, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020 at her home following a long illness.
Oma was born in June 3, 1930 in Matewan, West Virginia and lived in the Roanoke Valley for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Seymour E. and Nell Dotson Blackburn.
Oma enjoyed gardening, flowers, and camping. She was a bookkeeper and retired from Peoples Federal Savings and Loan.
In addition to her parents, Oma was preceded in death by her husband Jack C. Aders, and two sisters. She is survived by her son, Jack Aders of Roanoke; daughter and son-in-law Sandy and Tim Guzior of Hardy; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters.
A private service will be conducted. Burial will be at Old Dominion Memorial Gardens.
