Nellie Mae Bowyer Manspile

Nellie Mae Bowyer Manspile, 99 of Buchanan, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018.

Nellie was born in Botetourt County July 9, 1919 and was one of six daughters to Everett and Maggie Bowyer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by all of her siblings and her husband James W. Manspile.

Nellie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Gary and Brenda Manspile of Buchanan; grandson, James L. (Nicole) Manspile; three great-grandchildren: Cody, Katelyn, and Kara Manspile; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service honoring her life will be 1:00 pm Thursday, September 20 at Fairview Cemetery in Buchanan with Preacher Leonard Sullivan officiating. There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Botetourt Resource Center, PO Box 153, Buchanan, Virginia 24066.
