Michael V. Scherrep, 57 of Fincastle, died Monday, April 30, 2018 at his home following a long illness.
Michael was born in Norfolk November 14, 1960 and lived in Botetourt for the last ten years. He was the son of Franklin Anthony Scherrep and the late Elizabeth Jean Nowitsky Scherrep.
Michael served in the US Marine Corps and worked for Advance Auto Parts, Kroger, and most recently as Customer Service Manager for Walmart.
He is survived by his wife Roberta Albers Scherrep; son Drake Scherrep of Fincastle; daughter and son-in-law Stacy and AJ Robker of Eagle Rock; grandchildren: Tyler Wade, Ivy Mulcahey, Jakob Mulcahey, and Logen Robker; father Frank A. Scherrep of Roanoke County; brothers and sister-in-law Stephen and Laura Scherrep of Charlotte, NC, Sam Scherrep of Roanoke; sister Julie Scherrep of Roanoke; three nephews and one niece.
Michael’s wishes were that no services would be held.
