Madeline M. Theimer

Madeline M. Theimer, age 88 of Fincastle, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2019.

Madeline was born in Roanoke June 27, 1931 and lived in Fincastle most of her life. She was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Driscoll McCarty.

In addition to her parents, Madeline was preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bobby” Theimer; and her sisters: Sr. Marie McCarty, Rita Driscoll, and Joan Gray. She is survived by her children: Robbie (Carol) Theimer, Chris (Janet) Theimer, Greg Theimer, Mary Beth (Ed) Schulz, and Michael (Jennifer) Theimer; 13 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Saturday June 29 at Church of the Transfiguration, 7624 Roanoke Road Fincastle with burial at Godwin Cemetery. Madeline’s family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Transfiguration, or to a charity of one’s choice.
