Louise Joyce Moorefield, 97 of Botetourt County, died Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Carrington Place in Daleville.
Louise was born in Patrick County June 24, 1921 and lived in Botetourt County most of her life. She was the daughter of the late James William and Fannie Sue Spencer Joyce. Louise was a department manager for Heironimus Department Store for many years, enjoyed reading, and was a member of Fincastle Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son James “Jimmy” Morefield and her husband Robert Ivan Moorefield. Louise is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Robert “Bobby” and Ellen Morefield of Fincastle; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; brother and sister-in-law Danny and Clara Joyce; and sister Hazel Davis all of Fincastle.
