Ed
So sorry for your loss. I remember you both so fondly from the Patterson Drug times.
Lelia was a wonderful person and I know you will miss her so much. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time

"Miss Lelia" was our neighbor and dear friend. She was a true Southern Bell . . . dressed in her Sunday best, or in her yard with a wide brimmed sun hat pulling weeds or planting flowers. She had a twinkle in her eye and a quick wit. Her kindness and love was shown to my children, Jesse Keith and Jaclyn, from the time we became her neighbor in 1993, until she and husband Ed relocated to the Glebe. We enjoyed our visits with Miss Lelia and Ed at the Glebe. . .our most recent visit was July 2015, prior to my daughter's wedding. Magnets from her travels, decoupages of our home, our son's poem, and signatured children's books. .. are special gifts Miss Lelia gave to us . .. . however, the most precious treasure was the gift of her friendship to a young stay-at-home mom on Jeanette Ave. I will never forget you Miss Lelia.
