David Hunt

David Hunt, age 74 of Ferrum, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at his home following a long illness.

David was born March 26, 1949 in Clifton Forge and lived in Ferrum for 24 years. He was the son of the late Oscar H. and Eva Ayers Hunt. David enjoyed spending time outdoors and would hunt and fish when he was younger.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Brenda Noel; step-daughters: Jennifer (Kenny) Martin of Cloverdale, and Jessica (Rodney) Palmer of Salem; step-grandchildren: K.J. Martin and Carlissa Martin; and one brother, Ronnie Hunt of Gastonia, North Carolina.

David’s family will receive friends 5-7 pm Tuesday, October 3 at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road Daleville.
