Jay Lynn Martin

Jay Lynn Martin, 63 of Fincastle, died suddenly Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at his residence.

Jay was born in Roanoke August 23, 1954 and was the son of the late Hubert Andrew and Marjorie Frances Coker Martin. He lived in Fincastle all of his life.

Jay worked as a beef farmer and enjoyed horses and hunting.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Jason and Kim Martin; daughter Jaycie Martin; grandson James Martin all of Fincastle; brothers and sisters-in-law Weldon and Susan Martin, Glenn and Debbie Martin, Joe (Lori Karr) Martin all of Fincastle, Hugh and Dawn Martin of Centreville, Virginia.

A service honoring Jay’s life will be 2:00 pm Friday, April 27 at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road, Daleville. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Jay’s family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 pm Friday.
