Harold Leroy Dogan

Harold Leroy Dogan, age 95 of Carvins Cove, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Springtree Health Care and Rehab Center following a long illness.

Harold was born in Roanoke August 4, 1924 and lived in the area all of his life. He was the son of the late Salis Sylvester and Amanda Virginia Stanley Dogan. Harold served in the US Navy for four years and retired from the US Air Force after 20 years of service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Loretta Dogan and is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Bobby and Frankie Dogan of Roanoke; and his good friend, “Big Boy.”

A graveside service will be 11:00 AM Monday, September 9 at Old Dominion Memorial Gardens, 7271 Cloverdale Road Roanoke with Ben Peyton officiating. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road Daleville 2-4 PM Sunday.
