Garland Lee Myers Jr.

Garland Lee Myers, Jr., 42 of Thaxton, died Friday, September 7, 2018.

Lee was born in Roanoke November 20, 1976 and lived in Thaxton the last 4-5 years. He was the son of Garland Lee Myers, Sr. and Deborah Ann Blalock Hale.

Lee worked for Cash Build Supply for a number of years. He enjoyed drawing and working on cars with his dad.

Lee is survived by his son Brandon Lee Myers of Roanoke; step-daughter Faye Bishop and step-son Zack Bishop, both of Roanoke; his parents; brother George McNeill of Roanoke; sister Maheatherland Hope Gereau of Moneta; aunt Janice Goad of Fincastle.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be 2:00 pm Thursday, September 13 at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road, Daleville. Lee’s family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service Thursday beginning at 1:00 pm.
