Evelyn M. Causey, 100, formerly of Lakeland, Florida, died Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Richfield Recovery Center.
Evelyn was born in Macon, Georgia June 30, 1917 and moved to the Roanoke Valley about ten years ago. She was the daughter of the late George C. and Lillie M. George Marshall.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl F. Causey and is survived by her sons, Lawrence Causey of Troutville, and Daniel Causey of Snellville, Georgia.
A memorial service honoring Evelyn’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Jane Morgan Harris Chapel at Richfield in Salem where the family will receive friends one half hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lakeland, Florida.
