Deborah Ann "Debbie" Hale

Deborah Ann “Debbie” Hale, age 61, of Thaxton, died Friday, December 21, 2018 at Carrington Place following a long illness.

Debbie was born in Bristol, Virginia June 13, 1957 and lived in Botetourt and Roanoke all of her life. She was the daughter of the late Jessie W. Blaylock and Fannie M. Shaffer. Debbie enjoyed music, especially “oldies” and country.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Lewis Hale and her son, Garland Lee Myers, Jr. Debbie is survived by her son George McNeill of Roanoke; daughter and son-in-law Hope and Dana La Monde of Roanoke; grandson Brandon Lee Myers; and a sister, Kathy Lynn Perry Blaylock of Norfolk, Virginia.

A celebration of Debbie’s life will be 2:00pm Thursday, December 27 at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road Daleville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00pm.
