Cornelius Elton "Corn" Taylor

Cornelius Elton “Corn” Taylor, age 59 of Daleville, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019 following a tragic accident.   

Corn was born in Roanoke and lived in Botetourt all of his life. He was the son of the late Hubert H. and Lorene E. Taylor.

Corn worked most recently for the Pilot Travel Center in Troutville and had worked for the Truckstop, Botetourt County Schools, and ITT. He enjoyed basketball and bowling.

In addition to his parents Corn was preceded in death by his brothers: Dickey Toliver, Rodney Taylor, and Garland Taylor.    

He is survived by his brothers: Douglas Leon Taylor, of San Diego, CA, James (Terri) Toliver, Albert Stanley Taylor, Christopher Alonzo Taylor all of Daleville, and Arnold Ross Taylor of Roanoke; many loving nieces, nephews.

Family and friends will be received 6-8 pm, Tuesday September 3 at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road Daleville.
