Alex & I were so sorry to hear of Betty’s passing. We fondly remember having lunch with you at the K & W Cafeteria several years ago - sorry our paths have not crossed more often in the last few years. Know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Linda & Alex Daniel

Dear Alex & Linda,

Thanks so much for your kind words. Betty passed away peacefully at home with no pain or suffering. She is in the presence of our Lord and Saviour and while it is a sad time for all of us we can rejoice in the assurance that she is in her eternal home.

My condolences to the family during this time of loss. I have fond memories of Betty and her phenominal hospitality! The death of a loved one is tragic, but the death of a Christian is merely bittersweet as the pain of loss is tempered with hope of a future where we will be re-united through resurrection. Our grief and pain are real but temporary. My prayers for the family. May the Lord comfort you in your momentary affliction.

So very sorry to hear of Betty's passing. Now, I am thinking of all the times I should have... I should have mailed the dozen letters I wrote! Betty was always good at keeping in touch... I didn't reciprocate. I am going to miss her very much. I'm sure she is visiting with daddy and sister Nancy right now. I am so sorry I can't attend the funeral but, please know I am there in thought and prayer.
