Virginia B. Webb

Virginia B. Webb, age 100, of Fincastle passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020 at her home.

Virginia was born January 30, 1920 in Lorain, Ohio and lived in the Roanoke Valley most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Walter O. and Fannie Love Bonhotel.

Virginia was a nursing assistant at Lewis Gale Hospital, retiring after 35 years of service. She was a member of Forest Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed her flowers and fruit trees. Virginia was an avid hunter and enjoyed deer hunting with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lois Bonhotel; brother, Albert “Horsey” Bonhotel; daughter-in-law Regina “Jeannie” Morgan. Virginia is survived by her son, Dennis Morgan of Hardy; brothers: Walter “Bud” Bonhotel of Lorain, Ohio and Malcolm “Mink” Bonhotel of Roanoke; sister: Mildred “Millie” B. Anderson of Buena Vista; and many loving nieces and nephews.

A service honoring Virginia’s life will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 29 at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road Daleville. Burial will be at Forest Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. In observance of COVID-19 social distancing guidelines, the visitation and funeral will be held for the immediate family.
