I knew Bob in high school. He was a kind and generous person and I was sad to learn of his passing in the Alumnae news. I will always remember him with that same smile. My condolences to you and your family.

I was Bob's administrative assistant at Allstate Indemnity for years. We had a great professional relationship and he was truly one of two of my best bosses by far. About a year after he left Allstate, I left Allstate. May God bless his family.

I got to know Bob when we all went to the VMI spring football scrimmage with Charles who had expressed an interest in attending VMI and becoming a member of the football team. It was a memorable day< Bob became a valued friend, and Charles met the football coaches and "got a taste" of what the school was like, an unique opportunity.
