Connie T. Thompson

Connie T. “Nannie” Thompson, age 76 of Troutville, passed away Friday, October 7, 2022.

Connie was born in Lexington, Virginia September 6, 1946 and was the daughter of the late William James Thompson, Jr. and Beryl Thompson Martin. She lived in Troutville for the past nine years.

Connie was a member of Union Baptist Church. She enjoyed her flowers and mimosa tree, but her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Thompson. Connie is survived by her husband of forty years, Meshach Thompson, III; daughters: Lisa (Lonnie) Hovis of Stephenson, Virginia, and Beth (Chris) Kelley of Troutville; sons: Derrick (Candace) Thompson of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Lewis Thompson of Roanoke; grandchildren: Baylie Kelley, Bryce (Josey) Kelley, Neveiah Thompson, Jordyn Thompson, Serenity Thompson, and Shylynne Thompson; honorary grandchildren: Vincent (Hannah) Brennan; and grand-dog, Gunner.

Per Connie’s wishes, no services will be observed.
